HWg-Ares 12 is a remote environment monitoring solution that can be installed in a few minutes. It only needs GSM signal coverage. The device contains an internal back-up battery. If the external power fails, up to 5 recipients are alerted by e-mail or text message. The HWg-Ares 12 can be used even as a simple GSM thermometer.

Simply connect external sensors (temperature, 4-20mA, humidity, light and other sensors) or two dry contacts and monitor all probes remotely. Sensor data can be read into HWg-PDMS (free software), connected with a Web portal or passed to a SCADA/NMS system.

The Ares platform is ready for remote installations with hundreds of units. Despite that you can easily start with just one HWg-Ares 12 unit and see graphs in the supplied HWg-PDMS software or in XML exported data.

HWg-Ares is a complete GSM monitoring system – from sensors to MS Excel data export. GPRS traffic is cost-optimized. The unique feature is that you can mix LAN based IP sensors with the GSM/GPRS HWg-Ares devices. There is an available plugin for Nagios – most popular free SNMP monitoring software.

HWg-STE Web Thermometer for max. 2 Sensoren (Temp, 2xTemp, Temp+Humid)

HWg-STE PoE is IP enabled web thermometer with Email alerts and SNMP. Measure temperature and humidity with two external probes. Powered over Ethernet or from wall plug adaptor.

The HWg-STE PoE web thermometer is configured using a built-in web server. If the temperature (humidity) exceeds a specified threshold, an e-mail alert is sent. Free windows software HWg-PDMS for graphical overview and MS Excel export included.

HWg-PWD 2D Water Leak Detection with Ethernet output

HWg-WLD is 2D area water leakage detection sensor with Ethernet output. Liquid is detected along the entire length of the sensing cable. Detection cable is very easy to extend.

Water leakages are serious issue in modern buildings and data centers with double floors. HWg-WLD detects water leaks or water floods along the entire length of the sensing cable. The sensing cable detects even the smallest volume of water, ethylene glycol, or other conductive liquid. The HWg-WLD can be ordered in two versions depending on the supply of power (power adapter or PoE IEEE 802.3af). Two meters of WLD detection cable is included in the delivery.

2D means whole room surface liquid detection. The sensing cable detects as little as a few drops of the liquid, and can be used to detect condensation. After flooding, the cable can be dried and reused. The WLD sensing cable can be extended anywhere and several times by non-sensing prolong cable. It can significantly reduce cost of the whole installation.

HWg-WLD features a built-in web server and SNMP support. In case of an alarm, the device sends an e-mail or SNMP trap.

Alarms can be also signaled by switching a remote relay over the Ethernet. When a leak is detected, HWg-WLD activates a relay of a remote Poseidon or Damocles unit (Box-2-Box mode).

Typical applications involve monitoring of coolant piping in air conditioning systems or water detection around pipes in technical areas. The water leak sensing cable can be wrapped around the piping, suspended under the piping, or laid on the bottom of a pipe duct.

HWg-WLD Relay Water Leak Detection with Releais Output

HWg-WLD Relay detects a water leak anywhere along the length of the connected sensing cable (up to 85m). Water leak or cable disconnection is indicated by activating a relay output (NO/NC). The sensor can be also connected to the Poseidon or Ares unit over the 1-Wire UNI bus (RJ11).

To detect water leaks or floods, HWg-WLD Relay uses the „WLD sensing cable A“ in lengths of 2m to 85m. There is a 2m sensing cable included in the standard delivery. Water or any other conductive liquid is detected along the entire length of the sensing cable. The sensing cable can be extended anywhere by a non-sensing prolong cable up to 185m in total.

The moisture-absorbing sensing cable detects even the smallest volume of water, ethylene glycol, or other conductive liquid. It can be dried and reused.

HWg-WLD Relay can be installed stand-alone using a 12VDC power supply and a relay output. Also can be used as a sensor connected to Ares or Poseidon unit over the 1-Wire UNI bus. Relay outputs indicate a detected water leak or cable disconnection.

Temperature / humidity measurement and monitoring of 4 dry contacts over a LAN (Web, SNMP, E-mail). MS Excel reporting software with graphs included for free.

The Poseidon2 3266 is a SNMP and web enabled environmental monitor (temperature, humidity, dry contact).

Four digital inputs (dry contacts) can be used for connecting door contacts, smoke detectors, water flood detectors, detectors of cooling fan failure or 230V supply failure detectors.

The Poseidon alerts you by email or SNMP Trap in the case a value is out of a defined range. When digital input dry contact is closed, the Poseidon send email or a SNMP trap. The alert can be delayed by a defined time (an e-mail is sent if a cabinet door has been open for more than 5 minutes).

With the HWg-PD Trigger software, alerts can be redirected to SMS or processed according to the PD Trigger rules. You can switch remote relay over IP or shut down a PC.

In a typical application, the Poseidon2 3266 monitors the environment and controls the doors in cabinets or technology rooms (telecommunication nodes, rack rooms, server rooms).

Ethernet temperature / humidity monitoring with 2 relay outputs and 4 dry contact inputs (Web, SNMP, and Email). Output relays can be controlled over the Web.

The Poseidon2 3268 is a unique IP device featuring 2 relay outputs (NO/NC). The Poseidon2 3268 measures temperature and humidity, and monitors four dry contact inputs.
Digital inputs (for dry contacts) can be used for connecting door contacts, smoke detectors, water flood detectors, and 110/230V AC power supply failure detectors.

Relay outputs can control cabinet heating / cooling using a local probe (“thermostat” / “hygrostat” function).
The outputs can be controlled remotely over IP (server restart with a PowerEgg unit, or opening the cabinet door remotely).

When a dry input contact is closed, the Poseidon sends an e-mail or a SNMP trap. The alert can be postponed by a defined time (an email is sent if a cabinet door has been open for more than 5 minutes).

With the PD Trigger software, alerts can be redirected to SMS or processed according to the PD Trigger rules (set/clear a remote relay over IP, show a pop-up message in Windows).

In a typical application, Poseidon2 3268 controls the environment in a cabinet that is equipped with a fan. Critical temperature or door being opened alerts are sent to a central system. The Poseidon2 3268 is also frequently used to restart a server or A/C unit remotely.

Web enabled thermostat with temperature/humidity measurement, four dry contact inputs and two 110/230V relay outputs. Industrial version, supports SNMP and E-mail, DIN rail mount.

The Poseidon2 3468 is designed for industrial alerting applications. Based on the sensor values, the Poseidon2 3468 sends alerts and activates outputs.
Relay outputs can directly switch 110/230VAC. The product is fully CE / FCC compliant.

Each value out of the safe range can trigger an alert by email or SNMP trap. Different safe range can be defined for temperature, humidity or dry contact inputs.

When an input contact is closed, the Poseidon sends an email or a SNMP trap. The alert can be delayed by a defined time. (e.g. an e-mail is sent if a cabinet door has been open for more than 5 minutes).

Both relay outputs can be controlled remotely over the Web, or from a software application (XML, SNMP).

A typical application is an “IP thermostat” or an “IP hygrostat”. The relays control heating or cooling (fan) using a temperature or humidity probe. The IP relay 110/230V can be controlled remotely over the Web.

The Poseidon2 4002 is a complete solution for rack mount environment monitoring in data centers or bio labs (fits into 19" or 10" cabinets).
Supports up to 28 probes – temperature and humidity, AC current, smoke, water leak, water flood, air flow, vibrations detector, and more.

A GSM modem can be connected to send SMS alerts. The Poseidon2 4002 is SNMP based environmental monitor. Alerts can be sent to an IP Video system.

A typical application is starting/stopping the recording and controlling the pan/tilt & zoom of an IP camera with a door contact. When you open a cabinet door, an IP camera focuses to it and keeps recording for as long as the door is open.

HWg-PWR Energy Metering

HWg-PWR is a smart Ethernet gateway for remote energy consumption metering. Up to 3 or 12 or 25 external M-Bus meters (water, gas, electricity, heat meters) can be connected to the unit.

HWg-PWR can process data from 3/12/25 external M-Bus meters. The unit monitors energy consumption and sends e-mail or text message alerts to values out of a specified range.

All values from the external meters are available for further processing over SNMP, Modbus/TCP, or through a web portal.

HWg-PWR 3/12/25 works stand-alone, without the need for a local PC. Consumption charts are displayed over the web interface, and a consumption report can be e-mailed once per day, week or month.

With HWg-PWR 3/12/25, it is easy to create a remote consumption monitoring system for all types of energy. Typical applications cover data centers, shopping malls, industrial premises and office buildings.
Individual M-Bus meters (electricity, water, gas, heat and other meters) are produced by third parties. Over 30 leading manufacturers now support the M-Bus interface. External meters can be used for any current ranges, power factor measurements, etc.

The Damocles MINI is a snmp / web relay that is typically used to remotely switch on or off other devices or to measure energy consumption (using pulse counters at the inputs). When an input contact is closed, Damocles sends an email with customized text. Optionally, the email can be sent after a defined delay (for example, to send an alert if a freezer door stays open for more than 5 minutes).

A typical application is the sending of an email based on Dry contact inputs, remote restart or remote relay control. Relay outputs can be controlled over M2M protocols SNMP, XML over http or Modbus/TCP.

Box-2-Box mode:
Changes at a dry contact input of one device (A) are sent over the network (SNMP Trap) and reflected at the relay output of the other device (B). Damocles MINI can react to changes at the inputs of another Poseidon or Damocles unit (without any additional software).

Example: Too high temperature in the datacenter (measured by Poseidon 3266) turns on a warning red light in the IT department in another building (relay output of Damocles MINI).

The Damocles 1208 provides digital inputs (DI) and digital outputs (DO) that can be remotely controlled over the Web.
Inputs and outputs can also be controlled using M2M protocols over IP (SNMP, Modbus/TCP, XML over HTTP).

When an input contact is closed / opened / changed, the Damocles sends an email with configured text and/or a SNMP Trap.

In a typical application, the Damocles 1208 is used to connect I/O over the Ethernet. Digital outputs match the digital inputs of another unit (Box-2-Box mode).

Box-2-Box mode:
Press a button in London to turn on a light in Los Angeles. No software is needed. The event of closing a contact at the input of one unit (A) is transferred over the network (SNMP Trap) and switches an output of another unit (B). The Damocles 1208 can react to changes at the inputs of another Poseidon or Damocles unit (without any additional software).

Example: High temperature at the air conditioning outlet (Poseidon 3262) turns on a warning light in the IT department in another building (Damocles output).

Monitors the functionality (PING/WEB) of 10 IP devices, automatically restarts them upon failure.

IP WatchDog2 periodically sends a PING request to the IP address of the monitored device. If no reply is received, the ping-monitored device is power-cycled (rebooted) using the relay output.
IP WatchDog can ping and reboot two devices (two channels, two relays).

The IP WatchDog2 is typically used to monitor the functionality of network devices (WiFi AP, IP Camera). IP WatchDog2 is frequently used to detect connectivity outages and to switch to a back-up link as needed.

HWg-IP WatchDog2 Industrial Ping / WWW restarter

Monitors 10 devices over IP (PING/WEB) or serial line (RS-232), automatically restarts any of them if it stops responding – autonomous ping relay restarter.
The IP WatchDog2 Industrial periodically monitors the functionality of a device by transmitting or receiving a defined “I'm alive and OK” signal. This signal can be received over IP (PING or WEB) or RS-232 (serial port). If the correct reply is not received in time, the controlled device is restarted using a relay.

The IP WatchDog2 is a ping relay for 230V or simply ping restarter with two relay outputs. It can monitor 10 devices (10 independent channels, two relays).
Each channel can be used for autonomous restart or switched on/off as web relay.

The IP WatchDog2 allows flexible configuration – method of functionality detection, switchoff time when restarting.

Industrial applications can benefit from DIN rail mount and internal relays that can directly switch 110/230VAC, max 16A. Failures are detected with five distinct methods, separately for each channel (Ping Tx/Rx, Web page Tx/Rx, RS-232 Rx data).
